In the late 80s and early 90s too many bands tried to experiment with varied pacing and as a result slowed down too much. Fortunately we had bands like INFEST who were playing at an exhausting velocity. Thrashing, baby, thrashing. SHACKLED DOWN don't play at an INFEST pace by any means, but they do keep it in high gear.
